Splattered across the spring/summer catwalks, pastels are now prevailing on the high street too, thanks to Ellie Goulding, Lady Gaga and Avril Levigne all stepping out with shots of pale pink and slices of apple green through their hair. Elsewhere Katy Perry, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj have gone down the bold and beautiful route choosing block colours in a rainbow of Skittle-inspired hues to stand out.
