One good runway walk can launch a young model’s career into stardom. Being the first of four consecutive fashion weeks each season, New York emits the energy of hundreds of new faces dashing from casting to casting, trying to earn a space in a shows’ lineup.
Casting major shows from Preen in New York to Pucci in Milan and Rick Owens in Paris, AM Casting boasts a scrupulous eye for talent in a young model. “We take great hair and skin, height, walk and a good body as a given,” says Munro. “A girl needs something extra to stand out from the droves of new models. It is often a blend of personality and something intangible in the eyes that makes a promising model.”
