Here's one for all of you ladies who work in an office with a dress code but don't want to stifle your personal style! Kathryn, AKA Today's Best Dressed Reader, has a great look that's work-appropriate but still high on the chic factor...
Cardigan, belt, and skirt: J. Crew
Top: CAbi (borrowed from my mom!)
Tights: Hue
Shoes: Target
Glasses: NYC street vendor
"I have to be honest, I don't really need glasses, but I've always secretly envied those who wear them!" Kathryn writes to us. "I found this bold (non-prescriptive) pair at a street vendor in NYC and had to have them! I think the glasses really pull the look together and make a statement. Also, the addition of the neon pink belt added a little pop of color to an otherwise neutral outfit, which makes for a perfect pick-me-up during the dreary winter months!" We couldn't agree more! This outfit is built from simple staples--an A-line skirt, a white blouse, a printed cardigan--but the tiny touches take it to totally wow territory. A bright belt is a great way to add a little something-something to your look at the office, and those specs certainly do make a statement! Find out more about Kathryn and her style at her blog, Sweet Tea and Champagne, then shop our version of her look for less:
What do you think, dolls? Would you wear Kathryn's look? Do any of you wear glasses even though you don't need 'em? Discuss!
And don't forget...we're always looking for new Best Dressed Readers! Send us a head-to-toe photo of your favorite outfit, and the next one could just be YOU!
