Apparently, Emma Watson’s campaign loyalty doesn’t just belong to Burberry.
The Daily Mail‘s reporting that the style star, otherwise known as Hermoine Granger, will soon become the new face of Lancôme. It’s a move that’s not all too surprising for a girl who’s taken on everything from new roles, to modeling, to designing, to ivy-league schools throughout the last several years. Now, the British it-girl can add beauty ambassador to her resume.
What is a surprise however, is that Lancôme has tapped a much younger Hollywood celebrity to endorse its wide-range of beauty products. In the past, the brand has had screen sirens Julia Roberts and Uma Thurman grace their glossy ads and TV commercials. At 20-years old, Watson will bring a breath of fresh air to a brand that’s not always geared itself toward capturing an audience with youthful skin or trendy make-up tastes. If anyone questioned Emma’s career post-Harry Potter, this should be a sign that the girl isn’t going anywhere.
